The Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year awards has named Kia’s seven-seater EV9 electric SUV its supreme champion.
Priced from £65,025, the EV9 was also named best SUV. Other category winners included: the Volvo EX30 (family car); BMW Series 5 (large car); Volkswagen Amarok (4×4 & pick-up); and Aston Martin DB12 (exclusive car)
It follows testing of 63 contenders by 75 women motoring journalists from 52 nations.

It comes as a survey of female drivers in the UK by Electrifying.com and The AA reveals that 61 per cent of women say they feel less confident at the prospect of driving an EV than they do a petrol or diesel car.
