Wetherspoons curry club nights are back with a bigger discount

The pub chain began offering the meals seven days a week in June, having previously only had them on the menu on specific days.

Steak and curry meals will still be available to order everyday, but now they will be discounted on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively.

For example, a classic steak meal with an alcoholic drink costs £9.95 usually, but will only be £8.29 on Tuesday – a saving of £1.66.

You’ll save £1.16 on a gourmet steak and a beer, which is now £10.29 on a Tuesday instead of £11.45.

A Wetherspoons curry is usually £8.45 with an alcoholic drink or £7.15 with a soft beverage.

Now it will cost £7.29 or £5.99 on Thursdays – saving punters £1.16.

The pub chain has been shaking up its menu in recent weeks with several changes to its food and drink offering.

It launched a new peri-peri chicken range, but fans were quick to point out its similarity to other high street favourite Nando’s.

Last month ‘Spoons revealed plans to axe Strongbow and John Smiths from its drinks line-up.

But it added a new selection of booze from December 15, including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Leffe Blonde and Bud Light.
