This means that any Spoons fan can order a menu item that’s included in the offer and pay the lower price.

Jon Yates, Wetherspoon’s head of marketing, said the offer had been introduced to give all customers access to “superb food and drinks at excellent prices.”

The deal will run from now until Wednesday, October 11 and will be available at all Spoons, apart from those in airports and in the Republic of Ireland.

Wetherspoons said that prices and savings will vary from pub to pub so make sure you double check at the bar before you order.

Regulars have already taken to social media to share their excitement about the deal.

Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, one fan said: “Wetherspoons have a student offer on for a month, but it’s available to non students too!”

The savvy saver also shared details of the deals available at her local spoons – The Queens Arms in Winsford.

Their order of a BBQ chicken pizza, a refill coffee and an orange cordial should have come to £8.26, but they paid just £4.74 – saving £3.52 or 42%.
