BRITAIN’S biggest EuroMillions winners have revealed why they went public with their £184million.
Joe Thwaite, 49, and wife Jess, 44, said they wanted to be honest with loved ones.
The couple, of Gloucestershire, won the staggering cash that now makes them instantly richer than Adele earlier this month.
And they told the world about their huge winnings today.
Jess said she had been “really worried about going public” but it will help them be “honest” to the people they love, adding it is “just because I want to protect the people I love”.
She said: “I want to make sure that they’re all OK.
“But I feel this is the way that we can be honest.
“The more we can enjoy it with them all, and going to allow us to give them loads to them.”
On whether they’re worried about scammers or people coming forward to ask for money, Mrs Thwaite said: “I haven’t even thought of anything like that.
“To be honest we’re a week in, we’re so overwhelmed by other stuff.”
Mr Thwaite added that they are trying to “focus on the positives”.
The couple, who have been married for 11 years and have two primary aged kids, added they will spend some cash on adventures.

Hair salon manager Jess said: “Our two children have always talked about going to Hawaii.
“I’ve no idea why but we can now make that dream come true.
“The win gives us time to dream, which we haven’t had before.”
Communications sales engineer Joe added: “Our youngest constantly has always wanted to go to Hawaii. I think YouTube’s to blame for that.
“I’d love us all to get on a plane and go on a holiday, somewhere sunny.”
Mum Jess said the youngsters have also always wanted a horse box for their ponies rather than the trailer they currently use, so some of the money will also go towards that.
“Just to see their faces when we can make these things come true will be worth every penny,” she added.
The couple only recently moved into a new home, which they said was a dream in itself.
