HUNDREDS of neighbours living in UK’s luckiest town have scooped a share of £10.2million lottery jackpot in the “biggest ever” win.

The town of Perthshire in Scotland has been hit by luck as locals rake in their share of a huge Postcode Lottery win.

In a special event in Perth’s South Inch Park over 500 punters living in six Scottish villages across the wider PH2 9 gathered to receive the colossal cash prizes.

The postcode area is home to Aberargie, Abernethy, Bridge of Earn, Forgandenny, Forteviot, and Glenfarg.

Neighbourhoods are now buzzing with excitement as neighbours have scooped a slice of the £10.2million jackpot.

Each player has forked out a minimum of £5,000 with some punters bagging over £1.02million.

And some residents grabbed tickets worth £340,000 with many pocketing as many as three at a time.

Danyl Johnson, ambassador of the Postcode Lottery, said the life-changing windfall was Scotland’s record-breaking win.

At the time he said: “We’ll be in the heart of Scotland this weekend for a heart-warming celebration with all of our players.

“It’s even more special this time because this is Scotland’s biggest-ever Postcode Lottery prize.

“Players will be picking up their prizes, but they also know it’s a win-win situation because local, national and international charities benefit from their contributions.”

Neighbours screamed with joy as he handed out the life-changing cheques.

Fellow winner, Stewart, was part of 10 neighbours to land the huge windfall in Perthshire in Scotland.

He believes the whopping £680,000 Postcode Lottery win could be a heavenly nod from his late ex-partner Robert.

The dedicated ABBA lover tragically lost the battle to a brain tumour two years ago after enduring a gruelling eight months of illness.

It comes as a dad who scooped £333k on the People’s Postcode Lottery said he will wait 14 years to spend it for a very important reason.

Roly, from Chester in Cheshire, was one of the lucky punters who bagged the life-changing prize in the lotto.

He shared the Millionaire Street pot with two neighbours in Chester after CH2 3RT won the whopping prize.

Elsewhere, another couple who won £60,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery told how they were able to double their winnings.
