GOOGLE has revealed what Brits searched for the most in 2020 – and most of it won’t surprise you.
Greenfingered Brits sought compost delivery, Cardi B fans pined to read the lyrics to her raunchy hit WAP, and Tiger King captivated Netflix watchers – partly thanks to the iconic Carole Baskin.

Every year, Google publishes its A Year in Search, revealing our innermost online desires.
Much of this year’s searching was linked to the coronavirus pandemic – and the same will likely be true next year.
Everyone wanted to know how to make face masks, bake bread, and cut their own hair.
Celebs who stole the limelight include Philip Schofield, Carole Baskin and Elon Musk.

And fitness was on the agenda: top searches included “Joe Wicks workout” and “fitness equipment”.
“The 2020 Year in Search lists not only reveal the most popular trends from the past 12 months, but also give insight into the biggest events in the news, politics, sports, entertainment and popular lockdown trends,” said Google Trends’ Kirstin Wright.
“As people continue to look for information in new and different ways, Google Search keeps evolving to make the world’s information accessible and useful to all.”
