Walmart said it had stopped advertising on Elon Musk’s X, joining the parade of major marketers that have left the social-media platform in recent weeks.

The retail behemoth said the halt—in the middle of its critical holiday shopping season—wasn’t due to a change in its advertising policies, but about how well advertisements on X have performed.
