SHOPPERS are being urged to return multipacks of Walkers mince pie flavour crisps after the brand’s owner revealed there are no clear warnings that they contain milk.
PepsiCo, owner of Walkers, has put out a product recall alert as the packs contain milk which is not clearly mentioned on the label.

The mince pie flavour crisps are a festive special released by Walkers.
But while the flavour may be a bit different, they have been labelled incorrectly and could be dangerous for those with a milk allergy or intolerance to lactose.
The alert applies to multipacks which featured five bags of the crisps.
PepsiCo said in a statement that while the product has “precautionary allergen labelling for milk,” it is not declared in the ingredients list.
It said: “This product contains milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”
No other Walkers products are affected

Shoppers who purchased the crisps can get a refund by calling the Walkers consumer care line on 0800 274 777.
The crisps will have also been sold in shops and supermarkets.
Tesco has issued a product recall notice and has said shoppers can either get a refund from Walkers or return the item to get their money back at one of its stores.
No receipt is required.

Other supermarket brands haven’t put out a recall notice.
Asda and Sainsbury’s said they did not sell the crisps.
The flavour isn’t available on the Morrison’s websites, so may also not be offered in-store.
It comes as IT issues affected the supply of Walkers crisps last month.
Many shoppers have complained about shelves missing their favourites such as Quavers, Wotsits and classic Walkers flavours.
A Walkers spokesperson said: “A recent IT system upgrade has disrupted the supply of some of our products.
“Our sites are still making crisps and snacks but at a reduced scale.
“We’re doing everything we can to increase production and get people’s favourites back on shelves.
“We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
The crisp giant has been prioritising making the most popular flavours, including salt and vinegar and cheese and onion.
All crisps are still being made, but the problem means they are being produced in smaller quantities than usual.
The Sun previously revealed that the crisp maker had asked supermarkets to remove promotions to avoid shortages.
We also found that variety packs have shrunk from 24 to 22 bags – but still cost £3.50.
Crisp fans have complained the shortage is worse than the petrol crisis.
