Many Waitrose stores will typically be open from 8am to 9pm on a weekday and stores will usually close an hour earlier on a Saturday at 8pm.

And on a Sundays, hours are usually between 10am and 4pm.

We have all the latest on the changes coming into affect this bank holiday weekend, so make sure you check out below before heading in-store or placing an online order.

When is Waitrose open over the early May bank holiday?

On bank holiday Monday Waitrose will be closing at 6pm, giving shoppers three hours less time to shop in the evening.

The store is also opening an hour later than usual at 9am so early risers might miss out on another hour of shopping in the morning as well.

But this can vary between stores so it’s always best to check with Waitrose’s locator tool and make note of your local store’s opening hours for the day.

Sunday hours have been unaffected though, so you’ll still have the same length of time to shop as ever, and normality is restored from Tuesday as the opening hours return to 8am to 9pm.

Is Waitrose doing delivery over the Bank Holiday?

Home delivery slots at Waitrose are quite hard to come by this weekend with very minimal options left.

While the service is available both for Sunday and on the bank holiday, most of the slots are already fully booked.

If you are lucky enough to nab a spot then the service is free, you just have to spend at least £40.

Or if you are unsuccessful in securing a slot then you can use the store’s free click and collect service but, again, you’ll have to spend a minimum of £40.
