Vodafone is one of the main broadband providers in the UK, alongside Sky, Virgin and BT.

And now it’s offering fibre broadband from £22 a month, down from £25, based on a 24-month plan.

It comes as thousands struggle to afford daily essentials like heating, food and broadband due to the cost of living crisis.

Vodafone said customers who chose its Superfast 2 home broadband package would save £200 a year, compared to those who had BT Fibre 2 instead.

Customers using Vodafone’s service can enjoy speeds of up to 67Mbps – meaning busy families should be able to stream and scroll without issues.

If your demands call for faster speeds, Vodafone Pro broadband gives customers average speeds of up to 900Mbps from £30 a month.

This means you could download a HD TV show in 33 seconds, which is 23 times faster than standard broadband.

Thousands may not realise they could nab cheaper tariffs, especially if they’re on benefits or receiving Universal Credit.

Discounted packages, often referred to as “social tariffs”, are offered by nearly all providers – yet only 55,000 people out of 4.2million eligible households take advantage of the offers.

But doing so could save you £144 a year – check out the cheapest tariffs you could be eligible for.

Meanwhile, millions of BT customers are closer to getting £500 in compensation.
