The problem appeared to start just after 8am this morning and comes as millions of Brits still continue to work from home due to Covid restrictions.

Customers across England and parts of Scotland appear to be affected, and many took to social media to complain about the issue.

A number of people also said they couldn’t get through to Virgin Media’s helpline when they called up for help.
