THOUSANDS of Magnum ice creams are being recalled as they “may contain pieces of metal”.
Unilever is being forced to pull the treats from the shelves as they could be unsafe to eat.

In a nationwide alert, the Government’s Food Standards Agency health watchdog said tonight “Unilever is recalling Magnum Classic Ice Cream Sticks three-packs because they may contain pieces of metal.
“The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat.
“Product details : Magnum Classic Ice Cream Sticks Pack size 3x100ml Batch code L3324, L3325, L3326, L3327, L3328 Best before November 2025 “Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
“If you have bought the above product do not eat it.
“Instead, any customers with queries or concerns can contact the careline team for further guidance on 08006781031.”
Unilever said no other produts are affected and they ‘apologise to customers for the inconvenience’.
