Several countries including the U.S. and U.K. involved in the strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen released a multi-nation statement on the attack . The statement says the strikes are intended to “disrupt and degrade the capabilities that the Houthis use” and  “are in response to a series of illegal, dangerous, and destabilizing Houthi actions.”
