A TWO-BED flat with “strong potential” could be yours for just £10k – but there’s a catch.

The home has come on the market, and as a bargain, it would be a great chance to get on the property ladder.

The bargain home has been described as a “great refurbishment project” and would be the perfect way to get on the property ladder.

But pictures taken inside the house in Paisley, Scotland, show the rooms piled high with rubbish.

Any potential-buyers would have to climb over massive piles of trash just to sit on the sofa.

Beyond the rubbish hides a dark and dingey property that needs a serious clean-out.

The flat has a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and a storage cupboard.

But for the house to be useable, potential buyers would have to give it a serious deep clean.

The kitchen counters have no spare space as they’re filled with mugs, kitchen utensils, food packets and dirty pans still on the cooker.

In the living room, filled up bags cover the carpet – adding to the never-ending list of things to clear up.

According to Zoopla, the property is the second cheapest in the Paisley area.

It’s just a 21-minute commute to the nearest major city – Glasgow – and is a good location if you don’t want to live in the hustle and bustle of it all.

Mandi Cooper, managing director of Auction House Scotland said: “Close to various amenities, transport links and Paisley town centre, this flat would be perfect for a developer or first-time buyer looking to get stuck into a renovation project and offers a fantastic opportunity to add value.

“Equally, buy-to-let investors could be attracted by the strong potential rental yield of the property upon completion of its refurbishment.”

The property will be going under the hammer at the start of November.

A two-bed home in Lincolnshire was also up for auction with a starting price of £37,500 – but the buyers would have their work cut out with this home too.

Similarly, a three-bed was dubbed the cheapest house in Wales with a price tag of £25,000 – but with plants growing through the windows, it needs some TLC.
