When a couple struggle to conceive, all too often the initial assumption is that the female has fertility issues. But, according to this eye-opening documentary, there’s a “spermageddon” coming. “The question very rarely gets asked: well what’s wrong with him? Do you think it’s him?” says comedian Russell Kane, who – along with Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and Radio 1’s Melvin Odoom – gets an education on how to improve sperm count and quality. It’s alarming in parts (we apparently eat a credit card-sized amount of plastic a week, and men are literally “boiling their balls” with their clothing) but it’s also a fascinating look at a taboo subject.
