Sparta’s arrest came months after his arrest in Kingston for illegally possessing a pistol and ammunition in December 2020. After pleading guilty, his sentence was dramatically reduced.
He had a rough upbringing because he lost his father when he was nine years old.

The Gleaner newspaper confirmed that the “Blessings Singer” was brought on a stretcher to the prison’s medical center for treatment before being moved to the Kingston Public Hospital.

Donahue Martin, his attorney, stated that he was not allowed to visit his client, but he is investigating the situation.
