A TINY one-bedroom studio flat that looks like a garden shed has been slammed by house hunters.
The cramped pad is up for rent at £1,000 a month in Maidenhead in Berkshire and has potential lodgers fuming.
The wooden shed-like apartment is listed as being “part-furnished” and has been branded as a “joke” as it doesn’t even have a proper mattress on the bed.
The studio flat has mud smeared all over the front and door, and inside pictures show the tiny kitchen with a sink, microwave, and a small hob.
To make matters worse, despite its location in Maidenhead, the apartment is just a stone’s throw from the sewage works.
Chris Applegate fumed: “One thousand pounds per month for literally a shed in Maidenhead.
“Not even a full mattress on the ‘bed’.
“Is even by British slum landlord standards, gobsmacking.”

Ash Whitley said Brits should protest about such pricey properties like the French are over pension changes.
He added: “Is this a joke? £1,000 to rent a shed by the sewage works.
“British folks, can we get a little more French, please?
“They’re taking the p*** out of us.”
Another said: “In my opinion, the housing market is f*****.”
One local quipped: “Goes and measures shed in the back garden.”
The property is being let by Chancellors and advertised on Rightmove.
Tenants will have to fork out a £1,154 deposit too.
The property description reads: “This lovely annex [sic] has been newly refurbished and is based just outside the town centre and only a five-minute walk from the train station.
“Benefitting from parking, private walkway entrance, and offered part furnished with all bills included.”
