SAVERS health and beauty discount chain can be hard to beat when it comes to low prices – but are some deals better than others?
The retailer stocks a range of products from shampoo and baby care items to washing powder and perfume.

The discount chain has more than 400 stores across the UK, and you can also buy online off the website.
As well as low pricing on everyday products if you buy online you can get half-price delivery when you spend over £30.
Standard delivery is usually £4 which means if you are spending over £30 you will pay just £2.
But how do the savings compare to other retailers and it is worth the hype?
We compared a selection of products with other retailers to see just how much of a saving could be made by shopping at Savers.
Remember that prices can change daily, so we do recommend doing your own research to make sure that you are getting the cheapest deal.
You can compare the cost of similar products from other retailers using price comparison tools like Google Shopping or Trolley.co.uk.
We got off to a good start when we started bargain hunting, you can currently get a 100g jar of Maxwell House rich blend coffee for £1.99 whereas in Iceland it is £4.50

Gaviscon double action, 150ml, also gave a saving worth having at £5.49, compared to Asda at £5.95 and Morrisons at £6.
Stardrops Pink Stuff miracle toilet cleaner was priced at £1.19 in Asda, whereas you can get this product in Savers for 99p.
But there are definitely things worth shopping around for, for instance.
Dettol Antiseptic liquid 750ml was £3.69 in B&M and Savers had a price of £3.69.
And on Nivea in-shower body moisturiser 250ml is priced at £2.99 in Savers, whereas in Superdrug it is £1.99.
They also do a range of designer perfumes including brands such as Britney Spears Fantasy 100ml EDP priced at £19.99.
When we price-checked this on Trolley.co.uk the same perfume was slightly cheaper at £19.50.
We checked some other branded perfumes and it was the case that they could often be found cheaper by shopping around and using price comparison sites.
Our conclusion was that Savers is definitely worth bearing in mind when it comes to getting a cheap deal, not only on toiletries but also on some general household items too.
But it is still good to keep an eye on what other retailers are offering.
