A THREE-bedroom semi-detached house has hit the market at just £39,000 – but there’s a slight catch.

The property offers two bathrooms, a large kitchen, spacious lounge, a front and back garden in addition to three generous sized bedrooms.

The home is situated off the road with a driveway in the Bradmore area of the Wolverhampton.

However, while house hunters will be impressed by the price tag, they may be shocked when they view the inside.

Photographs on the Zoopla listing reveal each room needs a major re-model as stages of disrepair and decay vary.

Estate agents described it as “vacant” which offers a reason as to why there’s no furniture, flooring, appliances or wallpaper in many areas.

Outside, the front and back gardens are both overgrown and in need of some TLC from a home buyer who enjoys getting stuck into a bit of gardening.

All that currently remains inside the property are the bare bones of the kitchen, including a sink and broken cabinets, naked light bulbs, grubby bathroom suites and a few patches of dated wallpaper.

Mould may also become an issue for potential buyers as viewers will be able to spot patches forming on the ceiling and walls.

The description of the property in the listing reads: “A semi-detached property which stands back from the road behind a driveway and foregarden.”

It is currently available with Zoopla and will be for sale by public auction on 14 December starting at 9am.

The size and location of the house could make it an ideal investment for someone who plans to renovate – and potentially flip the property.

Adding value to a house can range from spending anywhere from a few hundred pounds, to thousands.

Kate and Chris Sandhu perfected the art of DIY and renovated almost all of their home without skilled professionals.

The couple bought the three-bedroom terraced home for £745,000 in June 2017.

But, they’ve added £105,000 to the 1800s property’s value with their handy work – and upcycling – alone.
