THOUSANDS of keen Aldi shoppers QUEUED to get on its website this morning to buy its latest garden range, including a sell-out BBQ.

Before 8am this morning, almost 15,000 shoppers joined the virtual queue to get access to the website.

It comes as Aldi’s new gardening Specialbuys went on sale today.

Items that have now sold out online include a £129.99 pizza oven, a £199.99 garden bar as well as the popular £349.99 Kamado egg-shaped BBQ.

Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK shared a screengrab of Aldi’s virtual queue just before 8am, showing 13,394 people were ahead.

The BBQ is a ceramic outdoor oven that comes with a temperature gauge, chimney top and an ash door that is said to make your food taste smoky.

It quickly sold out, however, leaving some customers to vent their frustration about missing out on Twitter.

One customer said: “@AldiUK we have been following all your feeds and emails as we wanted one of your Kamado BBQ Eggs, this morning it’s gone from coming soon to sold out – what is going on?”

While another added: “@AldiUK sold out of the Kamado BBQ again, are you getting more stock this year?”

However, others were luckier and managed to get their hands on the BBQ.

One Twitter user said: “The @AldiUK Kamado Egg BBQ is finally miiiinneee!”

And another shopper tweeted: “Woo hoo managed to bag @AldiUK
#aldikamado egg BBQ!

“My garden is complete having also managed to bag #aldieggchair #aldibar #aldichimenea #aldirattanbenches.”

The Aldi website says more stock of the Kamado BBQs is “arriving soon”, but it’s yet to confirm when so we’ll update this article once we hear back.

The Kamado BBQ was last available at Aldi at the end of March.

Sadly, all three products are online exclusives so you won’t find them appearing on Aldi store shelves anytime soon.

If you’ve missed the boat, Aosom is selling a smaller Kamado BBQ for a cheaper £178.99.

Or if you don’t mind spending more, Wickes is selling a build your own garden bar for £400.

While Ooni is selling a wood pellet pizza oven for a pricier £249.

An Aldi spokesperson told The Sun shoppers should sign up to the product page to be notified about when the items are back in stock.

Aldi customers were left furious a few months ago after its hanging egg chair sold out within minutes.

Other items that have caused queues on the Aldi website include its sell-out home delivery food boxes.

Shoppers have also queued for hours to get their hands on Kevin the Carrot toys at Christmas.
