Available today (February 22, 2024) Dead Island 2 has been added to Xbox Game Pass.

It is available to all tiers of the subscription service – except Xbox Game Pass Core – so most subscribers can jump in and play for free.

Dead Island 2 was originally launched in April last year, and was extremely popular with fans.

The first game in the series was launched in 2011 and fans had been waiting over a decade for the sequel.

However, 2023 is well known to be gaming’s best-ever year, and there were plenty of amazing games trying to get our attention.

This is why some people will have missed out on playing Dead Island 2 on release, but now they have a second chance to play the zombie shooter.

The blurb for Dead Island 2 reads: “A deadly virus is spreading across Los Angeles, turning its inhabitants into zombies.

“Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, uncover the truth behind the outbreak and discover who – or what – you are.
