The supermarket giant, known for its bargains, has introduced a range of large candles which resemble a much-loved and much more expensive brand.

The same size of Yankee Candle usually retails at £30 – saving customers a whopping £26.50.

Smaller versions of the brand are available for around £2.

Shoppers are racing to their local supermarket to nab Jo Malone candle dupes back on the shelves for over £65 cheaper

Asda is also selling Pacific Wax Co wax melts for just £1.50.

It comes after one savvy shopper found the “bargain of the century” in-store this week.

Mum Charlotte Quinn found a 32-piece grey cutlery set – including a tray – for just 60p.

Alerting others online, she wrote: “Being a mother of five I’m always short on cutlery, I’m sure they eat yogurts and throw their spoons in the bin.

“Anyway, I was looking for new cutlery and saw these on the shelf marked down from £12 to £6. I thought I’ll grab one at the price.”

But Charlotte then shared: “Scanned through at 60p so I went back for another.”

What should have cost Charlotte £24 for two 36 piece cutlery sets, in fact cost her only £1.20.
