It’s worth pointing out that spending money you didn’t intend to isn’t a bargain, however big the discount.
Also, if you buy online you may need to add the delivery cost onto your purchase.
Plus it pays to shop around so you know you’re getting the best price, even when an item is discounted.
When you see a bargain, it’s always worth double checking if you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
You can use websites like Google Shopping, Price Spy, Idealo and CamelCamelCamel to compare prices.
Aldi Specialbuy – up to 50% off
Aldi’s Specialbuys are products which are in stock only for limited periods and usually in high demand because they are so well priced, like inflatable hot tubs.
You don’t have to leave it to chance though. You can sign up to Aldi’s Specialbuys newsletter to get a heads up what’s coming or read their leaflet online for what’s coming up – it lands on a Monday.
Specialbuy items go on sale every Thursday and Sunday in store and online, but you can also pre-order on the website.
But some that haven’t flown off the shelves are still in stock and have now been reduced with up to 50% off.

Boots – up to 50% off

The high street chemist regulalrly has sales on, and now is no different, and this is a big one – with up to half price off.
Many of Boots’ on sale items are available online.
However, some of them can only be found in store – with the chemist offering an in-store finder for you to check if the discounted item is in stock near you.
One of the best deals is a half price bottle of Hugo Boss’ The Scent Private for her.
Boots also has up to half price on kid’s clothing.
B&M furniture sale – up to 40% off

Furniture can be one of the most expensive things to buy for your home.
Lockdown has made us all even more aware of how are homes look.
Megastore B&M has a major furniture sale on, with up to 40% off.
If you’re in need of a new bedside table, they have a luxurious three drawer one reduced from £70 to £50.
Lidl kids sale – up to 60% off

Christmas is still a few months away – but you can never be too early to get the best bargains.
It’s an expensive time of the year – with kids toys always in demand.
Luckily, Lidl has a sale on kid’s toys. Everything from pencil cases to bath toys is on offer.
If your kid is the curious type – they even have an illustrated animal atlas, reduced by 60% from 9.99 to 3.99.
Matalan – up to 70% off
Matalan has an in-store sale with up to 70% off across mens, womens and childrens clothes as well as homeware.
It is not possible to view the sale online, but you can visit your local store to see what’s on offer.
