SHOPPERS can’t contain their excitement about a new hot cross bun flavour from M&S.
Sweet treat enthusiasts have flocked to social media to share their delight at the release of the new product.
The new Extremely Caramely hot cross buns with salted caramel fudge pieces are a perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
They will hit the shelves just in time for Easter on February 28, but a lucky few have already tried them as they were sold at corby Foodhall today for just £3.50 for two packs.
The new flavour announcement has been widely praised by Facebook users.
One wrote: “We need to try these,” while another agreed saying: “Omg how good do they look I must try!”

A third even went as far as to write: “The only hot cross buns I’ll eat.”
And a fourth reckoned: “ones to try with a cuppa.”
The caramel buns are only the latest new flavour of hot cross bun M&S have launched.
They also have Extremely Cheesy Hot Cross Buns and Extremely Chocolatey Hot Cross Buns.

The butter-enriched buns are made with cheddar and red Leicester cheeses and come in a pack of four for £2.
Gi took to TikTok to share a slideshow of pictures of the M&S food she would “sell her soul for”.
“These hot cross buns are the best thing I have ever tasted,” she wrote.
“They live rent free in my head all year round!”
It comes as Tesco have also released a new hot cross bun flavour.
Shoppers are raving about the store’s new take on a classic British treat.
They say the product has “changed the hot cross bun game” and call it “flipping amazing.”
