MCDONALD’S will shake-up its menu next week with the return of the chicken legend and launch of a new Big Mac – but another burger will be axed.
Fans of the BBQ Bacon Stack are set to be disappointed as it’s being removed from the menu to make room for the new additions.
The fast food chain will reveal the chicken version of it’s classic burger next Wednesday (February 2), and bring back the popular chicken legend.
Mozzarella dippers and Galaxy chocolate and salted caramel McFlurries will also make a comeback.
But the BBQ bacon stack is set to leave the menu.
The burger, which was launched in July, is made with two beef patties, two slices of pepper jack cheese and bacon topped off with tomato, lettuce, onions and BBQ sauce.
It’s sandwiched between a sesame seed bun, and costs £4.79 for a burger and £6.29 as part of a medium meal deal – which includes a side and drink.
We’ve asked McDonald’s if it will be back, and we’ll update this article when we have more details.
McDonald‘s removed the Chicken Legend from the menu back in November to the outrage of fans.
The Chicken Legend comes in three flavours: BBQ, cool mayo, and hot and spicy mayo.
We’ve asked whether all three options are making a comeback next week.
The chicken Big Mac will be on the menu until March 15 and is 50p more expensive than a classic Big Mac.
It’s £4.09 for the sandwich, or £5.59 for a medium meal with chips and a drink – you can go large for £5.99. However, prices do vary between restaurants.
It also has more calories with 544kcal, compared to a Big Mac which is 508.
Fans of the mozzarella dippers will be pleased to hear the treats are coming back to the menu too.
They are cheese sticks coated in breadcrumbs – and they come with a salsa dip.
A single portion of three dippers costs £1.89, but if you’re planning on sharing them – or just feeling hungry – then you can buy nine for £5.09.
