The good news is that there’s actually a pretty small number of online retailers that stock the best TV deals.
Competition is fierce among these stores, and when it comes to TV deals, you’ll often see them ruthlessly price-match each other.
This is especially the case during hectic sales periods like Black Friday and Boxing Day.

This is our top TV deal in the UK right now, because Amazon has stuck a huge price drop of 31% on this 43-inch set from Philips’s PUS8546 range.
Obviously you’ll be set up with a 4K-level screen, but you’re also getting the Philips P5 engine, which adjusts the image in real-time to make the colours brighter and the motion smoother.
If you’ve got an Alexa-compatible device, you can pair it with this TV for hands-free control. Gamers will appreciate the four HDMI ports. All in all, a great mid-range investment for the years to come.

Hisense might not be one of the major TV-makers on the market, but this television will still capably deliver 4K-level visuals, DTS surround sound – it also comes with with built-in Alexa.

What’s the deal? A 15% discount on a TV from the affordable end of LG’s line of televisions.
Why we love it: Because of LG’s prestige – you get what’s considered by many industry officials as the best streaming platform on the market include here.
Anyone who enjoys movie nights with the room lights switched off will appreciate the screen’s Filmmaker mode, while the built-in HDR functionality (something that’s not standard in 4K sets at this price) will give the 4K picture an extra level of richness and better contrasts.

Why we love it: Although this is a pretty entry-level line of televisions from LG, there’s a couple of things that make this telly an absolute gem at just under £300.
Firstly, it comes from LG, the second-biggest selling manufacturer on the UK TV market.
Secondly, its HDR (high dynamic range) function takes the 4K image and further boosts the colours, contrasts and overall quality.
This is a budget-friendly TV that simply doesn’t look budget at all.

Why we love it: Because if you’re looking to scale up your TV, but you want to do it on a budget, then this is one of the best options out there right now.
There’s nothing that remarkable about 4K TVs these days, but this one has built in HDR functionality, which further improves the darks and colour levels of whatever your watch.

Why we love it: Because QLEDs offer a level of picture quality that will keep most TV-watchers very, very happy indeed – the ‘quantum dot’ tech takes the 4K picture and further boosts the levels of colours and contrast quality.
These tellies used to be top-of-the-line, but since Samsung’s Neo-QLEDs were launched on theLIN market last year, they’ve started to tumble in price. We’re not complaining.
