THE 20 best jobs in the UK for this year have been revealed – and you could be paid up to £68,681 for them.

Global jobs website Indeed listed the best jobs you can apply for based on hundreds of thousands of reviews of jobs listed on its website.

Its measure of what makes the best job was based on three factors – opportunity, high salary and flexible working.

The jobs which came out on top vary – but the best job, according to Indeed, is a solar panel installer.

You can earn an average of £33,613, and 16% of workers’ time is spent working remotely.

However, these roles were harder to come by, with 87 jobs available within a mile radius – whereas one of the jobs on the list, a mental health technician, had 1,573 jobs within a mile.

The second best job on Indeed’s list was a clinical nurse educator – who train and assess nurses.

The average wage for this role is £27,549, and you can spend 13% of your time working remotely.

There are 125 jobs of this kind available within a mile radius.

While the third best job was a sustainability consultant – who give advice to companies on how to become greener and more socially conscious.

You can earn £40,805 in this role, spend 20% of your time working from home, and there are 137 jobs available on average in a mile radius.

Following behind, was a family therapist, where you can earn £45,296 and spend 14% of your time working from home.

It comes as millions of workers have been hit by a pay cut as real wages fall 2.6%.

Plus, the rate of UK unemployment rose too by 3.7% in the three months leading up to November, up from 3.5% in the previous three-month period, the ONS said.

It follows official data last week revealing the economy unexpectedly grew by 0.1% in the month of November.

However, the ONS said that in the three months up to November, gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 0.3%.
