TESCO has announced a big change which will impact over 2,000 jobs.
One of the UK’s biggest supermarket’s said it will shake-up its shop management roles and shut remaining counters and hot delis.
The overhaul is set to impact around 2,100 jobs.
Tesco has already removed counters from the majority of its shops.
But it will close the remaining amount and hot delis across stores from February 26.
The grocer said all affected workers will be offered alternative roles across the business.
The retailer also said 350 workers will be impacted by a series of “localised” changes, including the closure of eight pharmacies and reduced hours at some in-store post offices.
The Sun has approached Tesco for a comment.
