An eagle-eyed shopper spied the Beldray Heated Airer with wings at their local store.

They then shared the find on social media and fellow bargain hunters were keen to get their hands on it.

The Facebook user posted on the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More.

She shared photos of the airer box with a reduced label attached showing the huge discount from £25 to £2.50.

Commenters were quick to congratulate her on the find calling it “brilliant” and that they “need” one.

The same airer costs £60 on the Beldray website so this is a big saving.

It only appears to be available at Tesco in store and not online.

Shops will often slash prices like this when they’re clearing stock or only have a few left.

This means prices will likely vary from store to store based on stock levels.

We have asked Tesco how widely available it is and if it will be reduced to £2.50 at all stores, we will update this story when we hear back.

It’s always best to phone ahead to check if your local shop has it in stock before you head down.

You can find your nearest Tesco using the store locator tool on the website.

The lucky shopper who shared the post found it in a Tesco in Chorley.

Costing only 7.9p per hour to run, Beldray says the airer is “the perfect alternative” to tumble drying.

Meanwhile, running drying washing in a tumble dryer costs around £1.44 per load, according to USwitch.

The airer has 18 heated bars with 12 metres of drying space and a 1.4 metre power cord.

There are glowing reviews online, including one that said: “Utterly brilliant, economic and easy to use like all Beldray goods.”

Another said: “I think this is a great product, it helps drying clothes more efficiently and it has great capacity too, I love my heated airer.”

You’ll be hard pressed to find an heated airer for any less than £2.50, but if you can’t get hold of Tesco’s bargain there are other options available.

The cheapest we could find of a similar size was at Dunelm for £40.

While, discount supermarkets including Aldi and Lidl regularly restock their sell-out airers which cost £39.99 and £44.99 respectively.
