TESCO shoppers have gone wild after a supermarket slashed the price of an energy-saving gadget from £30 to just £10.

The genius item was popular among money-savers reluctant to turn the heating on.

With heavy downpours set to disrupt Brits across the country at the end of the Easter weekend, many will need something to keep warm.

Luckily, a savvy shopper has spotted a brilliant winter essential that won’t break your bank.

The Silent Night So Snuggly Electric Blanket has seen a price drop on Tesco‘s website and in-stores.

The deal, which was shared on Hotukdeals, shows the single size is selling for a fraction of the original price.

On the Silent Night website, the Super Single dual control blanket is currently priced at £30, but thanks to the Tesco deal, you can nab it for just £10.

The handy gadget boasts a snuggly fleece material to keep users warm and cosy even when it is not on.

It comes with three heat settings that can be used to set different temperatures.

According to manufacturers, it will cost you just 1p per hour to run the blanket.

But the Silent Night buy also features overheat protection for total peace of mind. 

The gadget has been praised online by savvy users who dubbed the item “perfect”.

A shopper said: “Very easy to use and perfect for cold nights.”

“Brilliant comfy blanket lovely warm bed within minute’s excellent value would recommend,” said another shopper. 

A third added: “Good value for money, cheap to run.”

A fourth penned: “Love getting into bed now.

“Perfect for the winter months, this blanket had elastic straps to fit around the mattress, easy to set up and doesn’t cost a lot to use.”
