As wages are clobbered by the cost of living crisis, the grocer wants to help hard-up families make better lifestyle choices for less.

This month, Clubcard members will see up to a third off of nutritious products like Tesco Meat and Veg burgers, kebabs, mince, sausages, meatballs and more.

The meat products are made with 30% vegetables but cook the same as meat – and that’s not all.

The Better Baskets range also includes zero-alcohol items, breakfast foods, vegan products and household staples for those with a Clubcard.

Members can save a considerable amount of cash thanks to the new scheme, while also grabbing items they may usually avoid.

But the offers won’t be around forever, as deals on all items except the meat products come to an end this month, May 29.

And deals on the meat items end next month on June 14, 2022.

To find your nearest store, you can pop your postcode into the online branch locator.

The Better Baskets range features items with re-usable, reduced, or recycled packaging in attempts to be more sustainable.

“Our Better Baskets campaign means there is no compromise. Right now, every little helps.”

How do I get a Clubcard?

Signing up to become a Tesco Clubcard member is free and easy.

you’ll have to fill out a registration form online which requires you to set up a Tesco account if you don’t already have one.

Once you’ve signed up by filling in your personal details, you’ll need to allow up to 24 hours between the application and completion of your Clubcard registration to be a member.

But you can still earn points in the meantime as you’ll be emailed a Clubcard number when you apply.

Just take this number to customer services when you’re next in store and they will add your points to your Clubcard.

How do I use my Clubcard?

Once your physical Clubcard has been sent out to you in the post, you can use it to collect points on food, fuel, fashion and more, in-store and online – just scan it at the checkout.

When doing your food shop online, your points will automatically be added if you’re signed in with the account attached to your Clubcard.

You’ll collect one point for every £1 you spend in-store and online, or one point for every £2 you spend on fuel.

Every 150 points is then turned into £1.50, and these points can be redeemed as vouchers towards other food shops, or for meals out in participating restaurants.

Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers have roughly two weeks left to spend a total of £17million worth of Clubcard vouchers before they expire.
