This means shoppers can save a massive £30 on the candle set if they buy it before then.
However, the £20 price tag only available for Clubcard holders so those who aren’t part of the Tesco loyalty program will have to pay the full £50.
The set includes five candles and a packet of tealights with scents including fruity, floral and fresh fragrances.
The candles also come in varying sizes with the large jar candle provide up to 125 hours of burn time.
How do I sign up for Tesco Clubcard vouchers?
HERE’S what you need to know about Tesco’s Clubcard scheme and how to get rewards vouchers to spend at restaurants.
You first need to sign up for a Clubcard, which you can join online for free on Tesco’s website.
Once you’ve received it, each time you spend £1 in store and online you get one point when you scan your card or app.
You also get one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you £1.50, for example.
You have to have a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.
Once you have enough points, you can now turn them into vouchers of the face value to spend in store, or you can triple their worth to spend at reward partners, including certain restaurants.
You can request and receive vouchers within 24 hours on your Clubcard account online or on the Clubcard app.
For full terms and conditions about faster vouchers, visit Tesco’s website.
Otherwise, you can wait to have your vouchers posted to you from Tesco, which happens every quarter.
The medium jar candles provide up to 60 hours, the small jar candles providing 30 hours and the tealights provide six hours each.
You can buy the set both in stores and online until August 4 or as long as stock lasts.
If you do purchase it online, you should take into account the extra home delivery fees, which start at £4.50.
Since the order is under £40 you’ll also be given a £4 basket fee so you’ll need to fork out at least £28.50 overall.
You can also use click & collect services after ordering online, with prices costing up to £2, bringing your highest possible total to £22.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
The deal for the exclusive Tesco set is the best we could find on a Yankee candle set.
Fragrance Direct are also selling a similar Yankee candle set, originally priced at £50, for £24.99 – although this does not include delivery fees.
But always do some research, using tools like Google Shopping, to compare prices on similar products.
For those who aren’t already Clubcard holders, you can sign up for free on Tesco’s website.
You’ll then be sent a card, which you can use at the checkout both in stores and online to earn rewards, discounts and vouchers.
Each time spend £1, you get one point when you scan your card or app and you also get a whole range of “Clubcard price” discounts when you shop.
