It’s the last bank holiday of the summer – and it could even be a hot one if weather forecasts turn out to be right.

If you’re nipping down to the shops for BBQ essentials or just a pint of milk, it’s worth checking opening times first.

You don’t want to go all the way there and find your local Tesco store is closed.

What time is Tesco open over the August bank holiday weekend?

Tesco stores are normally open as usual on the Saturday and Sunday before the bank holiday Monday on August 31.

This was the case on the last bank holiday weekend in May and we’ve asked Tesco if there are any changes this time and will update when we hear back.

On the Monday itself, shops are usually open, but may have different opening times.

Tesco store opening times are typically 6am or 7am until 10pm or 11pm.

But as this does vary depending on your location, it’s best to check with your local store for exact opening times.

You may find that some stores open later or close earlier than they usually do.

How can I check Tesco store opening times this bank holiday weekend?

It’s best to check when the store your heading to is open and when it’s closing time to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest store using Tesco’s store locator tool on it’s website.

You will also be able to see the time the stores opens an closes over the coming week.
