DO you miss the high street? I know I do.
While online shopping is great, I wish I could go to some of my store favourites for bargains.
Thankfully, there are some fantastic alternative websites that offer savvy steals.
Here are some of my favourites for saving pounds.
Poundshop.com: I love this website for big-brand bargains — with most costing just £1. It’s a fab alternative to in-store pound shops, such as Poundland, and there are plenty of products to choose from. This week I did a big haul and nabbed a box of my favourite Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate Fingers for £1 — they’re £1.50 at Tesco.

Poundtoy.com: If your kids are bored indoors, this site is an absolute must-visit. It has some seriously cheap goodies to keep them occupied in the run-up to Christmas, as well as some great little stocking fillers. Many fun options are just £1, with some costing as little as 1p. Plus, you can currently get a further 40 per cent off clearance toys (already discounted by up to 80 per cent) with the code BLACK40.

Everything5pounds.com: This one is great for bagging a big basket of bargains. It has some great going-out clothes that I’ll be stocking up on for when lockdown lifts, as well as some cosy loungewear steals. Postage is £4.99 so it makes sense to buy a few items at once.
Crazyclearance.co.uk: The discount retailer has some fantastic deals on everyday clothes, including tops for under £15, but its current coat sale is even more impressive. There are big high street names for far less, including a lovely Simply Be jacket, usually £80, down to just £32.
