SUPERMARKET shoppers may be wondering the best time to stock up on essentials ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Stores will be open over the bank holiday weekend including Tesco, Asda, Aldi and more – but trading hours might be different to usual.

Aldi stores will be open during the Jubilee, with Specialbuys a-plenty.

However, opening hours may vary between stores so ensure you check the opening times.

You can check the opening times on Aldi’s website with the store locator tool.

Asda opening times

Asda stores’ opening hours vary between each branch.

Shoppers should use the store locator tool to check what time their local store is open.

Some stores will even remain open for 24 hours.

Lidl’s opening times

Lidl‘s opening hours vary between each store, so your best bet is to check its store locator.

You can also use Google, to search your nearest store’s opening hours.

While you can’t shop online at Lidl, you can browse to see what deals are in the famed middle aisle each week on its website.

Morrisons’ opening times

Morrisons will be open for business over the bank holiday.

To find out your local store’s opening hours, use the Morrisons Store Locator tool.

The retailer has a number of promotions including a Clarence the Corgi cake for £6, a £4 Elizabeth Sponge cake and half price Pimm’s.

Sainsbury’s opening times

Sainsbury’s said the vast majority of its stores will be open from 7am to 8pm.

However, shoppers can find out when their local Sainsbury’s store is open, using its store locator tool.

If you’re lucky, you might still be able to bag a delivery or click & collect slot too.

Tesco’s opening times

Tesco opening hours on June 2 and 3 will vary from store to store.

The majority of Tesco’s large stores will open at its normal time but will close by 20:00, however, large stores in London will close at 22:00.

Tesco Express stores will have normal opening hours unless it’s based in a shopping centre.

To ensure you get to your local store before it closes, you should use the store locator tool.
