And while it boasts a decent-sized living area, two roomy bedrooms and a cracking location, the bathroom poses some serious issues.

Plus, there is only a bathtub, with the shower head hanging loosely from the wall and no curtain or screen.
But the main problem lies in the fact that you can’t stand up under the running water.

And photos seem to have been taken from sink level in another attempt to cover up the downside.
But footage from a visit to the split-level seaside apartment reveals all – leaving the slanted ceiling nowhere to hide.
The “attractive” maisonette, in the leafy Preston Park area of Brighton, East Sussex, is on the market with estate agents David & Co with a guide price of £300,000 to £325,000.

Its price is comparatively low for the neighbourhood, but the bathroom makes it easy to see why.
Elsewhere though, the 674sq ft flat in the “imposing” semi-detached villa features sizeable spaces.
The living room is a substantial 16ft by 13ft and is home to a grand fireplace and large sash bay windows.
There is also a modern kitchen and two double bedrooms – and the future owners will be close to several schools, shops, pubs and the train station.
