Lord Frost criticism tempered by grudging acceptance that deal looks like it is ‘going to happen’

Boris Johnson’s former Brexit negotiator has fired a shot at Sunak’s Northern Ireland protocol deal, admitting it will “help” but will not remove EU law from Northern Ireland.

Lord Frost also hits out at some Conservative party members, who he says “without much evident scrutiny or reflection have come out in support” of the new pact.
