THIS stunning £1m home has had its market price slashed to £11,000 after its owner wanted to offer it to first time buyers as a gesture of good will.

The impressive six bedroom home in the well-to-do suburbs of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, is selling for just 2 per cent of its actual value.

The three-storey house, built in 2005, comes with a luxury fireplace and study, walk-in pantry, rec room and is only a few minutes walk from some of the best schools in the area – making it a stellar location for a young family.

According to Real Estate website Redfin, the home was last sold for £680k in December 2020. It’s now worth a whopping £1m.

“This home has been reduced in price for a first time buyer for a cash sale of $15,246! (£11, 561),” an ad published by the owner reads.

“I’m selling my home inexpensively because my family own many properties across the country.

“A few times a year we sell a few of our homes to first time buyers for under $50,000 (£37k).

“This is done as a tax write off for us, & to bless a family or individual that needs it, & as being a first time buyer, may not be able to get a home otherwise.”

But the kind gesture comes with a catch: only first-time buyers with no representation and no assistance from anyone can bid for the property, after they pay a £186 refundable deposit to register their interest.

Buyers can then view the plush property and if they want it, “then the balance $15,000 (£11,374) will either be due at closing or over 5 years owner financing at $250 ($184k) a month”.

Buyers have until April 5 to register their interest via text message. All costs and title fees will be paid by the generous owner.

It comes as a Brit family are flogging their entire home, Range Rover and superbike for £2.

The modern four-bedroom property in Ossett, near Wakefield, boasts a large garden – and is spread over three floors.

Claire Reynolds, 35, and partner Ben Binks, 36, have been living in their detached four-bedroom home in West Yorkshire for two years.

But now they are putting their gorgeous home up for raffle – and it could all be yours for the price of a £2 ticket.

The family are getting rid of the home in the very same way they bagged the property in 2020.

They are desperate to move to sunny Spain where the warmer climate will ease the strain on their four-year-old son’s gruelling battle with brittle bones.

Claire told YorkshireLive: “We’ve sorted all the estate agent and legal fees and things like that so all anybody has to do is buy a ticket.

“This could make our dreams come true of starting a new life.”

The couple – whose kids are aged 17, 14, 4 and four months – won the modern home after the previous occupants jetted off to Australia.

Claire estimates the pair have already flogged 1,100 tickets for the raffle, which is capped at a whopping 300,000 tickets.
