A STUDIO flat could be yours for just £1,000 a month in London – but renters better be prepared for a tight squeeze.

The tiny dwelling boasts just one room with a single bed in the corner, a wardrobe and a kitchen just inches from the end of the bed.

Despite its size, the Westway studio sits nestled between two London underground stations in East Acton and White City, providing enviable transport options for London housing.

But stepping inside the property may put some potential tenants off as the minimal space may be too much for some.

Two foldaway chairs sit in lieu of a living area while the oven-less kitchen barely offers the essentials.

Budding chefs may struggle to whip up culinary delights with just a sink, a two-ring electric hob, a microwave and a small fridge.

A pokey bathroom also comes with the studio, hosting a shower, wash basin and toilet crammed into the small space.

There is no garden or parking available and is touted as an ideal living solution for working professionals or students.

The listing, posted on OpenRent, reads: “A modern ground floor studio flat with front open space, located on a A40 Westway, yet located moments away from East Acton Station, local shops and amenities.

“The property benefits from gas central heating and double glazing, a modern fitted kitchen refrigerator, oven, hob and shared washing machine.

Despite the eye-watering price, there is one saving grace – bills are included in the price, including WiFi.

If you’re happy to feel packed in like a sardine every day, remember to keep in mind that you’re committed to six months – the minimum tenancy length at this property.

You’ll also need to cough up a deposit of £1,125.

The studio is available to rent from 31 August.

The listing follows a city-centre studio which hit the market for £4,600 a month – but with a catch.

The industrial decor of this “unusual home” right by Old Street tube station in East London could make one lucky renter very happy.

Another studio flat in one of London’s most exclusive postcodes was put up for sale – but the new owner needed have a very good head for heights.

The property – one of eight self-contained studios currently available in Primrose Hill – will doubtless be in high demand.
