A STUDIO flat is on the market at just £800-a-month but it’s so small you have to walk through a shower to get to the toilet.

The tiny apartment is described as being suitable for two tenants or families.

It has a modern-looking well-equipped kitchen including an oven, microwave and sink.

Albeit the fridge-freezer is crammed in next to a tiny table and chair.

It comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table and wardrobe.

But the most peculiar feature is the very narrow bathroom in the pokey pad.

It has a wet room floor and the toilet is on the far side beyond the shower.

That means if one of the dwellers is desperate for the loo they will get wet if the other is having a wash.

The studio flat in a leafy street in the Acocks Green area of Birmingham is being sold via OpenRent.

The listing makes no mention of the odd bathroom.

It reads: “Brand new studio apartments to rent in Acocks Green right next to the quality hotel.

“All bills, including high speed wireless internet, are included within the rent.

“Bedroom, en suite bathroom and individual kitchen with gas cooker are all included without any sharing.

“Complex is ideal for professional working singles and couples.”

A month’s rent is needed up front as a deposit.

There is no garden but parking for tenants is provided.

It states “maximum tenants two” adults but “families allowed.”

The news comes after it was revealed a man pays just £50-a-month to live in a converted skip.

Harrison Marshall, 28, moved into the converted eight-yard metal box in Bermondsey, South East London, last month as it was his “only option”.
