Presenter closes his BBC career with quote from ‘my great mentor’, the fictional anchor Ron Burgundy
Andrew Marr has signed off from his 21-year BBC career using a catchphrase from the Anchorman character Ron Burgundy.
The broadcaster, who has said he is looking forward to regaining his “own voice” outside of BBC impartiality rules, presented his final Sunday morning show after 17 years at the helm.
