SMYTHS has launched its Black Friday deals just over two weeks early – and it includes LOL Surprise and Disney.

Parents will also find discounts on Sylvanian Families, Pets Alive, Fortnite and more.

We’ve rounded up our top picks from the Smyths toy sale

The Sun found reductions of up to 40% off, although not all toys will be discounted by this much.

The Smyths sale could be a good opportunity for parents to stock up on cut-price toys ahead of Christmas.

But with Black Friday fast approaching, with the actual day falling on November 27, it’s important to shop around as other retailers will also be launching sales.

We explain how to compare prices in the box below.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

You’ll also want to keep in mind that Smyths toy stores are closed across England due to new lockdown restrictions.

You can, however, still order products for home delivery online.

If you’re buying online, bear in mind you’ll pay £4.99 for delivery on orders under £10, £2.99 on orders that cost between £10 and £19, or it’s free on anything over £19.

Smyths stores in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are open for business. Click and collect to open stores is also free.

Use the Smyths store finder to track down your nearest branch. Smyths has over 100 stores in the UK.

The toy retailer hasn’t said how long these Black Friday deals will last – you can view the full range on the Smyths website.

In the meantime, we’ve also rounded up our top picks from its sale here:
