B&M’s Oriana perfume costs just £3.99 for 100ml, while Olympea can cost as much as £103 for just 80ml.

The scent is listed on the B&M website and is described as being “addictive and gorgeous”.

Another said: “Smells like Olympea.”

While a third added: “No word of a lie, smells exactly the same – probably won’t last as long but still a bargain!”

While the product is listed on the retailer’s website you cannot buy it online and will need to visit a store.

Bear in mind that not every store is guaranteed to have stock, so you might want to check ahead before making a special trip.

If you are unsure where your nearest B&M is you can find out by using the store locator tool on the retailer’s website.

An original bottle of Paco Rabanne Olympea comes in three different sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 80ml and prices start from £49 in The Perfume Shop for the smallest size.

Britain’s retail apocalypse: why your favourite stores KEEP closing down

An 80ml bottle of the perfume currently retails in John Lewis for £103 and the cheapest we found was £97 in The Perfume Shop.

Therefore if you like the smell but are looking for a cheaper alternative this dupe costing just £3.99 is a fantastic deal.

Of course, do bear in mind that dupe scents may not last as long or smell as strong so do bear this in mind before buying.

With the cost of living making things hard for consumers to buy luxury items such as designer perfume, many retailers are launching dupes.

In January popular discount supermarket Aldi launched three new perfume dupes into its middle aisle all priced at just £5.99 for 100ml.

One is named Devotion and said to be a dupe of Dior‘s famous J’adore scent for an eye-watering £131 cheaper.

Empress is another dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Olympea perfume, while Perfect Pink is a dupe of Miss Dior, which works out at £131 cheaper.

Meanwhile, a fashion and beauty fan known online as ‘The Petite Lady’ revealed to her followers some fragrance dupes from M&S

Showing off her bargain finds in a short video she described the fragrances as “The best dupes I have ever found”.

The influencer had bought three dupes for only £6 each, one was called Red Berries and Rose, which she said was a dupe for Armani’s Si.
