The perfume, which only costs £6.99, is said to last and smells the same as Dolce & Gabbana’s £97 bottle.

Lidl’s cotton blue is not the only knockoff shoppers can find.

The supermarket is also selling the likes of Chloé, Lancôme and Dior, for just £5.25.

Lidl, well known for its dupes of famous brands, often surprises customers when they turn out to be better than the originals.

Shoppers have commented online about Lidl’s perfume bargain with the majority amazed at the quality.

“Got it last year, identical and the scent lasts ages” another user added.

A third person said: “This smells lovely – I bought it for work.”

And Vicky wrote: “I got it at £4.99 last year and it’s lovely.

“I also got the stylish girl.”

It comes after Lidl’s latest collection of perfumes had shoppers racing to the store.

Lidl had on sale a lookalike J’adore by Dior which cost just a little over a fiver whereas the original is an eye-watering £122.

While high-end perfume brands charge customers £96 the dupe Lidl versions could save you around £80.

The new collection which arrived in Lidl stores in November last year also had One Million by Paco Rabanne.

And this beauty fan trawled the fragrance aisle and was stunned at the amount of products they had.

A TikToker who goes by @Les_bons_plans_de_Betty found Coco Mademoiselle by Channel for just £4 saving the shopper £70.

The beauty fan also found a dupe for Hugo Boss £51.20 Boss Orange fragrance for men and Suddenly Diamonds only costs £3.99 for 50ml.
