A NUMBER of retailers have slashed prices on their goods weeks ahead of Black Friday in a bid to lure in customers early.
The annual day has fast become popular with shops offering discounted prices on a range of products.
The sale day lands on November 25 this year.
But in 2021, multiple big brands launched top offers a week early to entice customers in and a number have done so again this year.
Remember though, you should always shop around when looking to buy anything in a sale.
You might find it cheaper elsewhere, or it might be worth waiting to get it at an even lower price later on.
Tom Church, co-founder of the UK’s #1 Black Friday app, said the best deals usually come the week before Black Friday.
“What you get on the day itself is stuff they haven’t managed to sell already which tends to be less popular items.”
He also advised people to use price comparison tools like the Black Friday app to see if the price you’re getting is market-leading.
Helen Dewdney, of the Complaining Cow, said to be wary of Black Friday deals that are sometimes cheaper after the sales day.
