From tomorrow Tesco is cutting the price of the sweet treat in half – to just £3.

But by the end of March it’ll be back to half price at £6.

And you’ll need a Tesco Clubcard to bag the reduced favourite.

However if you don’t have one, Morrisons is offering the same deal with a box of Milk Tray going for £4.50 instead of the usual £9.

And one bargain supermarket has launched a range of sweet treats at even sweeter prices for the new season.

Aldi is currently offering the cheapest selection of Cadbury creme eggs, which are priced at £2.25 for a 200g box.

The box contains five of the 40g eggs which have been around for more than 50 years.

Prices for the treats start at £2.50 in stores like Tesco or Asda, but in Co-op, they are even more expensive at £2.85.

The discount supermarket also has the best deal on the large Celebrations Easter egg with the price set at £2.99.
