Shoppers have spotted a 2L air fryer from Robert Dyas for £40 – reduced from £80.

It’s the Salter EK2817 1000W Compact Hot Air Fryer, and fans are loving it.

One wrote in the reviews: “It is so easy to use and the food tastes good. It is just the right size for the two of us.”

Another praised: “Bought air fryer last month, very happy, thanks very much.”

And one more said: “You can almost replace oven cooking with it.”

It comes in black or silver, has a removable frying rack and includes a 30 minute timer.

It should feed roughly two people at once.

Keep in mind delivery costs if you’re ordering home – you’ll be charged an extra £4.95 at least.

There’s instead an option to click and collect if you’d rather – but you’ll need to see how close the nearest collection point is.

But always shop around first to make sure you get the best deals – you never know what you might miss.

You can use comparisons sites like Google Shopping or the Latest Deals app to find the most affordable price on a product.

For example, Argos has the Tower T17067 4L Digital Air Fryer on sale for £60 – originally £78.

It’s 1,400 watts, can cook up to four servings at once and reaches a maximum temperature of 200 degrees.

We also found the TEFAL Easy Fry Compact EY101827 Air Fryer from Currys for just £59.99 – down from £89.99.

It holds 0.6kg, reaches 1,300 watts and serves two people.

And shoppers are rushing to Asda to get their hands on a £99 air fryer.

The Scoville 11ltr air fryer comes with a 60-minute timer and precise temperature control.

Users can adjust the temperature between 65°C and 200°C.

The air fryer has a rotisserie function that’s perfect for roasting chicken using the spit attachment, and has a special attachment that’s perfect for lamb and donner kebabs.

But you should think about how much it’s going to cost to run once you’ve found a home for it on the kitchen counter.

Right now, if you used a 900-watt air fryer for 20 minutes, it would cost about 10p per meal.

But this could change if your bills hike up on January 1.

It also depends on who your supplier is, how much energy you normally use and which model you have.
