Mango, Candy Floss and Tutti Frutti flavoured grapes are back on shop shelves and shoppers can hardly contain their excitement.

The odd-sounding fruit gets its unusual taste through its development method but has not been infused with artificial flavours.

The flavours first hit the shelves in 2012 but have a habit of disappearing and then reappearing.

Since then we’ve seen a variety of different grape flavours including previously sold strawberry-flavoured grapes.

All three types of grapes are grown in Spain, but the cotton candy ones are also grown in Brazil and South Africa depending on the time of the year.

Shoppers took to Facebook to share their excitement at the news.

In the Food Finds UK Official group, one excited shopper said: “Two bite-size pieces of heaven.…. So tasty… worth a try.”

“And don’t forget CANDY FLOSS, you’ll never be able to eat ’normal grapes’ again.”

The post had racked up hundreds of likes, comments and shares with fans saying they couldn’t wait to get down to their local M&S.

One user said: “They sound lush.”

A second user asked: “Are these back in omg I love them.”

“I’ll be on the hunt this weekend,” said a third user.

“I need these,” cried someone else.

You can pick up a 400g pack of the seedless Mango, Candy Floss or Tutti Frutti flavoured grapes in your local M&S food hall for £3.20.

They are a bit pricier than a standard pack of grapes which would only set you back £2.65.

To find your nearest M&S food hall you can use the store locater on the retailer’s website.

Ocado shoppers can also order the tutti frutti and cotton candy grapes for home delivery at £3.20.

You’ll have to be quick with the fruits as they aren’t seasonal and can’t be grown all year round.

How to save money at M&S?

Marks and Spencer usually reduces its prices once in the morning and twice in the afternoon.

If you want to bag a bargain you should aim to be there for 9am, 2pm or 4pm.

One bargain hunter told us that some products may get reduced by 10% in the first wave of markdowns at 9am.

However, if you want to get a bigger discount you are better off going at around 4pm when you could get up to 90% off.

Don’t forget to look out for red stickers which indicate a bargain find in M&S.

M&S isn’t the only supermarket to try their hand a funky flaoured grapes.

You can also get candy floss-flavoured grapes from Sainsbury’s for £2.40 and Tesco for £2.40

Asda does a version for £2.50 and if you are willing to fork out Waitrose has a pack for £3.

You may need to try a few different stores until you can find the flavour you’re looking for.

Bear in mind prices may vary from store to store.

How can I save on my supermarket shop?

There are plenty of other ways to save on your supermarket shop.

Making a list before you head out to do your food shopping is always a good start.

You’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases or be enticed by unwanted offers.

Prices always vary by supermarket and it can pay to change up your shop.

Going own-brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.

That means going for “own” or “value” type products instead of “finest” or “luxury” lines.

Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes as well where you can get cheap prices if they’re misshapen or imperfect.

For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.

A lot of supermarkets run loyalty schemes, where you can build up points to spend on a later shop.

For example, Sainsbury’s has its Nectar Card and Tesco has its Clubcard.
