The Habitat Dove one-seater metal hanging egg chair is listed on the Argos website for £400, down from £500 – saving shoppers £100 in total.

But note that delivery charges aren’t included in this price and usually cost an extra £6.95 or £12.95 depending which slot you choose.

Shoppers can have the item delivered as soon as this week, with slots available from Friday April 15, depending on your location.

The item is made from metal and polyester, but features an open weave rattan design.

It’s only available in a “natural” colour, unlike other similar chairs which are available in grey – so keep that in mind when browsing.

You won’t have to worry about buying a separate cushion for the chair though, as it comes with a thick, padded, white seat for comfort.

And Argos has factored in practicality as well as comfort by making the chair weatherproof, meaning you can leave it outside all year round.

The website notes the item will need assembling, meaning you’ll be required to do a touch of DIY to get the chair set up.

“I can’t wait until summer to use it properly!”

But if you’re looking for a cheaper chair, there are plenty of other options – so be sure to shop around for the best deal before you buy.

Fans of the stylish furniture pieces can also choose the Argos Home Jaye hanging egg chair in grey for £288, down from £360 -a saving of £112.

Shopping elsewhere could save you even more.

Low cost supermarket Asda has also slashed the price of its hanging egg chair to just £199 too.
