One smart shopper managed to get a Downland Bedding Company duck feather duvet, in a king size for just £1.

B&M was selling the item for £30 but the shopper scanned the item at the till and it came up for £29 less.

At the time of writing, the Downland Bedding website was selling the same duvet for £108 – this offer could save you £107 in total.

She posted the bargain find on Facebook’s B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More group.

This is the cheapest duvet we found from that brand – though of course there are other brands of duvet out there.

But make sure to check other retailers in case we missed a bargain.

We couldn’t see the exact duvet online, so it looks like this is just an in-store offer.

But there are other Downland duvets available on the B&M site.

If you’re set on this one though, you’ll have to visit your nearest B&M if you want to buy it.

You can find your nearest branch on the B&M website.

And you may want to call ahead to check if it’s in stock to avoid a wasted trip.

Remember, it’s only a bargain if you were looking for the item in the first place.

Shoppers have reported B&M selling items for £1 recently.

Just last week we reported that people were getting their hands on a £1 item that could save them money on their energy bills.

While other shoppers managed to get this feather table lamp for just a £1 too, down from £28.

If you’re a keen B&M shopper, we’ve got some top tips on how to make the most out of your shopping.

How else can I save money at B&M?

Make use of the B&M scanner app.

The B&M scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.

Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.

Once you’ve got the app, click on the “scan” button at the bottom of your homepage.

This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you’ll need to use to scan barcodes.

When you’ve found a product you want to scan, simply point your smartphone camera toward its barcode.

Keep an eye out for products with a white reduction sticker on.

This means they will have a certain amount slashed off the price shown on the label.

Shop for products at the end of the season.

For example, shop for gardening products in September, at the end of summer, and look for Christmas goodies in January – you’ll get the biggest discounts.

Get friendly with staff too.
